The Dark Knight

Never I was so excited to see a movie like this. The Dark Knight is one of the best of the Batman movies. The style, the story line, the characters are just so perfect that the whole movie gives you complete entertainment. The part I liked the most is the Masochist Joker apart from the Bat Pod. Each and every scene is well taken. The chase sequence before the interval is very good and for a minute I thought the movie is over... But it had lot of surprises after the interval, the way two face gets evolved in the movie is depicted very carefully. The movie is good and I would recommend you to watch it to find out what so special about this movie..

Share Market .. Game on...

Shares, the buzz word which I have been hearing a lot these days. So thought why not give a shot. And so it begins with my idbipaisabuilder account. People who have experience in the past guided me to do it with small investment (anyways I don't have a large amount to invest also that's a different story). Last week that is 21-Jan-08 to 25-Jan-08 the market was down and it was a pretty good time for retailers like me to invest in shares, keeping long term in mind. So I bought the shares of A group and B group companies. I prefer to stick with delivery than intraday stuff. Hmm but the brokerage rate is pretty painful not to mention the tax. One of my colleagues whose doing this for a long time advised me to keep the shares for a long term at least a year, in which case you need pay tax, ok that’s a relief..

Some things which experienced people told me about share market business..

• Never be too greedy cause you could loose everything..

• Tension, a thing which should be managed properly..

• Long term investments are a good idea..

• Invest in all possible sectors, not concentrating on a particular sector like IT, power etc.

• Start with a small investment..
  

Another good investment is the IPO’s (Initial public offering).. Order it, get it and sell it .. Simple as that.. but before buying the IPO of that company have a background check of that company.. talking of IPO’s lets see how Reliance Power is getting allocated.. Many of my friends, colleagues and family members have applied for it..

Apart from this if you really want to stay out of the ticker, scrip code, 52week low/high.. Another solution Mutual Funds, put the money and you can stay relaxed at least to some extent. Because you are sure of minimum returns..

Call Taxi >>

The other day one of my friends had to leave Chennai and had a lot of luggage’s to be moved, so we decided to book for a call taxi. The train was scheduled for 23:30. We called one of the well known call taxi service (which happens to be very ‘FAST on the TRACK') by 10:00 in the morning and I asked them to come by 21:30. Those guys got the address and mobile number and gave me a confirmation number kind of stuff. In the late evening me and my friends thought we will just call those guys and check it up. We called them by 19:00 and they said ‘your taxi will be reaching your place by 21:30 and the driver will call you’. The time was 21:15 and we did not get any call from the taxi driver or we did not see any signs of the taxi. It was 21:30 and things were a little tensed so I called those guys and asked what happened to the taxi; he puts me on hold for a while and I could hear him talking with someone of the other side, after a while he says ‘sir your taxi will be coming soon’. I waited till 21:45 but still no signs of taxi. With no other go, I again called him; he gave me a number and said this is the driver’s number. I jotted it down, but when I called that number it was going to a person who is not a driver and does not work in that call taxi service!!. Ok, so hell with this taxi, we decided to take an auto and managed to get one just outside the house. We somehow managed to get there before time.

The call taxi service guys never called me and did not even bother to find out what happened to the customer. So please be careful when you book a call taxi and make sure you ask him to come in way advance.. you will be on the safe side.. Of course you can complain about this to their officials and take a severe action but time once lost is lost forever..

The word Sacrifice.

This is a little vague one.. If you are looking for jokes this is not the topic..

Someday everyone in this world will have to sacrifice one or the other to get something. One will understand the real meaning of the word only when he undergoes the agony of sacrificing something for the sake of others.

Some forfeit their personal life for professional, some sacrifice professional for personal; some for the happiness of others discard their own happiness. But of all these some sacrifices has to be made without any choice which is more tormenting than anything else.

People live abroad to earn handful so that their family can survive in their motherland sacrificing the happiness of seeing them everyday, people depart cause their happiness is not appreciated by the ones surrounded by them. Sacrifices are made for the sake of a better tomorrow, money, society, comfort and can go on ..

The point is when it happens one will be happy and another will be sad and there is no much win-win situation in these kinds of games. The decision has to been taken considering the personal, professional life in the line of the future. Once it is done there is no turning back and you will have to travel along the road taken. You will be traveling either in the road of others happiness with your broken heart or in the road of sadness with a smiling heart. But whatever it is the sun will rise the next day and you will have to live it, you cant escape the days ahead. When there is no hope for your dreams the only way to live is accept the life as it comes and search for happiness in the days ahead. Of course you will have to learn to live with a MASK of happiness again for the sake of others. And as they say 'Time is the best medicine' for such predicament, may be it is ....

You might have already undergone it or may be yet to undergo it.. But i have done it more than once..
